Caratex and Resiplush

Caratex and Resiplush

Soft and fluffy or grippy and denim?

PayaShell introduces two new names to the TCG world: Caratex and Resiplush. What do these two names mean and what's behind them?

PayaShell products such as binders or deck boxes always have the name suffix Caratex or Resiplush. Both are names for unique fabrics with special properties that are only available from PayaShell. Both fabrics come in a variety of vibrant colours and reliably protect TCG trading cards from external influences. They protect the products from the outside, while microfibre is usually used on the inside.

Caratex

Caratex is a rather rough material that is very non-slip in the hands. It does not slip easily on surfaces and its design is reminiscent of denim. The colours with Caratex have light and dark nuances, which reinforces the denim style. The material is particularly impact-resistant and stable. At the same time, the material is flexible and rubbery. In contrast to solid, inflexible plastic, Caratex can withstand a fall from a table, so that the cards inside and the product outside remain intact.

Resiplush

In contrast to Caratex, Resiplush is very fluffy and soft. It feels a bit like short fur or a cosy blanket. The advantage of this material is that it allows liquids from the outside to simply roll off. If the liquid remains on the Resiplush material for a little longer, it can simply be wiped off or carefully brushed off. After drying, the product looks as it did before. The colours with Resiplush are very strong and have no shades of brightness. Just like the Caratex material, Resiplush is flexible and forgives falls from tables.

Both materials have their advantages. Try them out, touch them and choose your PayaShell product. In future, the binders and deck boxes will be available in the same colours so that the collection matches at home. Of course, you always have the option of combining different colours. The materials are also colour-coordinated so that you can mix and match the materials and colours to your liking.
